Fantastic as always, great detail to this report,a great read,
Thanks for taking the time to post;)
That’s actually not entirely true, ryanair’s business model is suited to crisis, just look at what happened to the airline after 9-11,it actually grew stronger as a result, the airline has also posted record profits of €408 million after tax for the first 6 months of the year,so the so-called “anti-passenger stance” seems to pay…alot!,remember no-one is forced to travel with ryanair,it’s not the law
The older 737’s up to EI-DAG,have the older cabins AFAIK,the cloth seats, which are horrible,so that’s another reason they’re being disposed of,also not all of FR’s fleet is owned outright,so there is some sort of link between selling the original’s,which FR owns, and replacing them with aircraft on leases,so when the lease expires when a C check is needed, its sent back and a shiny new one comes from seattle to replace it.
Thanks a million paul,my elements 4.0 has it as well, its under filters, you’ve just saved two months of photos;)
Hi paul, how do i alter the image like you have to see these dust spots?
Here ya go,G-FLTK just about to land on “one-zero” at DUB sometime in August……only decent bit of sunshine for a while back then i recall.

Thanls fella’s,i think i have shot or two lyin around somewhere,i’ll go have a route around;)
Thanks for the compliments chaps;)
LGW,how it didnt rain that day i’ll never know!

It was very very dark at one stage that afternoon:
…….and some more:

I havent posted much from DUS because there wasnt all that much out of the ordinary around.
So it seems the aicraft does only one sheduled flight, greenland to denmark,it may have been here in Dublin too on a football charter but it could have been their 757 i cant quite remember, anwways i’d certainly hang around in the cold to get a shot if it came in again, brilliant scheme.
I have to say spanair are the worsed airline i have ever flown on,their MD-80’s
are terrible, the seats are too small, very uncomfortable.
With all the shots, they seem slightly over-sharpenend..just a touch, editing on quality screens like LCD or HD makes it harder to judge,i’ve noticed this myself with my laptop, the photos look too sharp when viewed on a regular TFT monitor, just one of those things i guess.
What a selection of asian fleets!,excellent, really good trip report too;)
I actually think heathrow is rather good for spotting/photographing,the spots are very good, the buses around the airport are excellent & free!,what i did when i was over at heathrow, was take the 285 bus around to hatton cross, cross the road and walk the bit down to myrtle avenue, once 3pm came,i walked back to hatton cross and got the 285 back around the 27R,there’s a bus stop right under the approach,i crossed the road, and went to the bus stop on that side of the road,i got some excellent angles & stayed dry, even though it bucketed down,no i had no experience of travelling around heathrow & i have to say it was very very easy:
