737 has ETOPS?? 2 hydraulic systems, etc.
Look above Nosewheel
I was waiting for an A fan to say that.
There is no logic to that statment at all.
It means A sold more than B… nothing more.
Everyone else knows im a big airbus fan or i wouldnt build an A320 cockpit in my garage, but im with bemused, Airbus have a bigger order book than Boeing nothing more.
Neither one is better than the other. All aircraft manufacteurs make, for the most part, good aircraft that sometimes are in a niche market. This doesnt make one build better planes just in some cases more of then.
If you use more orders makes the planes better than surly the B737 is better than the Airbus A320 family??
The Boeing 777 is still a very good plane as is that B747 which has been in its own niche for the last decade and this “niche” will end when the A380 comes into service BUT this doesnt mean the A380 is better than the B747 they both have good and bad features!

OK. Can I just clarify once and for all – We are not NO FRILLS, we’re LOW COST with frills – we still offer a lot of frills that other low cost airlines don’t. These are namely IFE, free newspapers, free pre-bookable seats, free tea and coffee and hot towels. The only thing that has changed is that the meals, snacks (previously unavailable) and the soft drinks and alcoholic drinks are now chargeable extras, as detailed in the PM I sent you the other day, Danairboy. However, there is now a choice of two hot meals or sandwiches or kids meals on board which was the whole reason our customer feedback was in favour of changing from the preset, no choice menu. Also, as pointed out in the PM, it isn’t just the hot meal that the £4 buys you – it includes a salad/starter, bread roll and butter, cheese and biscuits, a desert and an after dinner miniture chocolate. Also, drinks that are purchased still come with the free mini packet of nibbles. That is hardly NO frills now. All this and we are still competitive on price with all the ‘actual’ no-frills boys.
I hope that this now clears things up for you.
Bloody hell thats alot – im going to book with Monarch for next summer!

I really hope My Travel survive. There is pratically no other chart operator from Belfast with any good routes and a base at the airport. Air 200 op some routes but not that many and the odd year you see a Monarch on a one off charter. Sometimes Britannia but one offs
