Flybe wont last on a Liverpool route as in Northern Irish Newspapers today its £19 single including tax which is £38 return whereas easyjets have £25 and £30 fares available with double the amount of daily flights flybe are doing!
Lets hope it reduces prices to nothing 😀 but having said that flybe charge more tax than anyone else i can think of.

I agree CO do pick good routes and if the price is right Belfast is one of them but in surveys conducted over here people prefer low cost airlines and will travel even south to dublin to use Locos over scheduled airlines. When flybe rebranded they experienced trendmendous growth in NI and opened more routes as they also found that the loco model works best in NI.
Im going to double check the £650 figure but thats what i was quoted.
Dee747 – the routing starts in May next year and it isnt via LGW so you cant really say that you dont see the fare price “jump” to £650 as flybe dictate the price on part of the route and usualy due to codeshare get knock down flights which they pass onto their customers if they are using it as a connection
I hope im wrong as for 3XXnm extra you save £120 – just doesnt seem feasable but thats the figure i was quoted!
