Selling off Go was a good thing – well to ICI at least! It was dumb and stupid thing of BA to do but they were not letting it grow at all as they deemed it to have got so large it was a competitor!! I honestly would have given anything twice over to be a pilot for Go as it was such an amazing bunch of peope and the team/community spirit was amazing!

Also on my only spotting trip in 2002 to Glasgow i saw the Islanders and they look really nice in the livery!

Eddington wasnt exactly nice or pleasent in the interview on the BBC program marking concordes final landing in commerial service at Heathrow! He gave, to me at least, a image of being stuck up old fashioned upper class 1940-50s CEO.
