easyJet are doing what ryanair are doing but in the RIGHT eay! They are not limiting cabin weight but just size of the bag.

Ryanair will loose loads of customers and i hope they go bust honestly I do.

If people buy stuff at their destination how do they get it home? They cant take it on the plane. People wont be willing to pay a low fare then splash out on things such as clothes, toiletries etc for probably more than a BA ticket would cost with luggage in the hold!

I was wondering what aircraft are coming into use that will replace the 146/RJ 100s ? The main demand from LCY is how quiet (and low noise footprint) a replacement aircraft will be. The 146 types pass over my house on the approach and they actually make less noise (to my ears) that the turbo props. Dash 8, SAABs and Dorniers. I believe that a few business jets are now certified for use there too.

    Hense their name the WisperJet

Nooo! Damn it, so now I can only look out for the Hertz and Kilkenny at school 🙁 As mark said, I think the DUB routes are your best bet. I heard from an engineer who worked on CJF at Southend that these are limited to something like 15,000ft due to pressuriasation problems. Whether it’s a rumour, I do not know. But I know they did have problems with the lap-joints, and so it kinda makes sense?

Fits in with what I heard a while back – Ryanair employed their own maintanance staff to to remove old paint work before painting in logojets liveries and did this with a stanley knife and took bits of fusealage paintwork out of the aircraft when doing so as they lacked all professional know how and tools. Then repainted them and didnt repair them hense their time in skies was limited shorter than Ryanairs plans of keeping them until they nearly fell out of the sky to utilise them as much as possible.

LOL How does a Mig chase a large airline out of airspace without radio contact? Its not like it can budge it over by leaning on it!

Id like to see A340s here but they runway just aint long enough.

If your refering to Dublin then youll find your wrong, Dublin can handle an A340 easily and for that matter anything like 747s etc too as VS have flown their aircraft in their to FLS from time to time! (there are pictures of it too)

I wouldnt be so sure about pulling the strings as he futhered himself from the business and now needs even a Visitors pass to get into easyLand even when a monkey (who watches tv and lives in uk) could recognise who he was!
