The route is affected by the NAT tracks in use. These depend on the wind etc and change monthly. The pilot probably just choose a more southerly one as there are something like 15 in each direction!

The follow definition isnt permitted by easyJet and other carriers in hold or cabin:

Gas cylinders. Deeply refrigerated flammable, non-flammable, and poisonous gases such as butane, oxygen, propane, and aqualung cylinders. Includes butane gas (eg for use with heated hair appliances) camping gas, and chef’s blow torches

The popularity for operations (popularity being what makes best sense money wise) goes in circles with new developments. IAEs on A320 family were always best before as they used less fuel than the CFMs but now the CFMs have become ALOT more economical than the IAEs so most operators with the A320 family are choosing to go CFM off the production line unless they have alreasy got an IAE only fleet of A320 family aircraft and want to keep commonality as that is cheaper than mixed.

Its a VATSIM thing for their servers as some users have wierd things going on with slow modems and therefore EVERYONE has to set to slow modem even me on 1Mb.

go to http://www.vatsim.net and click on Pilot Resources Menu then i think Downloads. Then download and setup Advanced Voice Client (AVC) as its the new generate better than Roger Wilco and safer for the network.

Why was the airport landing an aircraft on the opposite direction to the take offs? At EGAC this can happen due to it being in a bit of a valley with good wind, is this airport in a valley?
