Saw the adverts all over the London Underground. £149 to JFK from LGW return seems a good price!!

Because I have to fly to Ipswich with heavy equipment for our office there i am always overweight. I have to say i always admit im over upon arriving at the desk and offer to pay. Usually when I do this i dont have to only exception being Ryanair and easyJet.

Ryanair lady at Dublin once tried to imply i HAD to distrubute the weight between hand baggage and hold luggage more evenly as i was 2kg over on hold luggage but 3kg under on hand baggage.

“they are making an example of her for the media”

and??? Not the courts fault if she sets herself up as a role model to young girls and a ahem “pleasure giver” for 12 year old boys…..

I dont like her one bit, thought the Simple Life tv show (when i rarely saw it) was just her PR people trying to get her media coverage. Some of the stuff was setup and ruined some peoples business reputations. Really dislike her.

If she doesnt win an appeal (she shouldnt) I would be surprised at “The Simple Life: Behind Bars” special…..

or maybe the day before she goes to Jail the management contract is taken over by Hilton Hotels??

Apart from the new easyJet Virtual over at http://www.easyjetv.co.uk!! Mind you no one has asked Stelios yet and i think they will be short lived but are doing things the right way and are comprehensive like BAV.

Why would they want to get rid of Small Props and Private Jets. They provide income….

Also, do you not have an issue with extending runway of the ground dropping away at each end?? I assume the only expansion could be at the 14 end?

    Andrew,

I dont think you can judge them by their first single service. I have rarely heard of a launch flight that goes on time due to press wanting coverage etc. I bet the delays were related to weather or press/media/launch!

Lets give them a chance to get warmed up!

Not to sure about the scheme, but it gets noticed

Isn’t that the whole point, getting noticed? I think some people think all airlines should have a very creative scheme but, allbeit these examples are logojets, airlines want to make the biggest and brightest impact on the ground and at low altitudes so their brand gets recognised by the public.

For example easyJet did not pick orange because it would be creative, it was because it was bright and cheerful and would be instantly recognised given time. Same for Southwest and to an extent Ryanair.

Emirates comes top in my book for painting the underwing area red with a white logo, pure genius.

of could be an insurance job. “Oh yes the builders had just taken delivery of £10 million worth of diamonds which were destroyed in the fire”.

There was a South African guy in Belfast who ran a Spar shop (do you have Spar in england?), and he was a gambler and kind of spent all the companies money. Now the shop did very well as its the only one in the nightlife areas of Belfast that is open late and hence he had a captive audience and was lifting over £5,000 per night.

Then two weeks ago there was a fire when no one happened to be in the shop and the owner was sitting next door for a pint. Fire Brigade ruled arson but could not determine the exact starter due to the shop being so badly damaged.

The owner has since been rejected insurance payout after police becoming involved and not being able to verify his location at the time of the first being started. He claimed the bar next door but their CCTV says otherwise!!

He forgot to pay 2 months of staff wages which is why this has all been made public as 20 staff are very annoyed.

I do like it because its different but wouldnt like to see it long term of over an entire fleet. It certainly is eye catching!
