    Would anyone be interested in hiring a small coach to take us into Farnborough on the Saturday as aparently coaches can get cheaper tickets for entery i read somewhere. Say pickup at a local hotel maybe? Only need 16 to make it viable and i have 2 (myself and my dad) already! What you think means we could all meet up and have some fun!

    Just to let you know Boeing is this years principal sponsor of Farnborough 2004 so looks like the triple 7 will be there!

    Airline Owner,

    It would be amazing to see an A380 at Farnborough this since considering test flights start in 2005! I think someone is lying….

    Airbus already spoke to Farnborough about the 2006 event and the A380 is confirmed to be there! I found this out as my charity event will be there during the two public days and we will be receiving access all areas passes for the week as well as already invited (in 2004 and 2006) to the Bombarider Aerospace hospitality tent cos i know Management at their Belfast Base!

    As usualy whole Bombardier array will be there and apartently Boeing are doing to be demonstrating “Connexions” more than 2002 when they just had a 737 parked up and if u have YOUR laptop handy they showed you it working!

    I dont think Iberia is in Star Alliance (surly one world) but my parents checked in for their Iberia flights at Belfast City Airport when leaving on a bmi flight to LHR so they just went direct to the lounge for Iberia apon arrival at LHR.

    My School is one of the UK’s largest overseas boarding school and we draw over 450 pupils from China,Thailand etc all over that area. They all travel back via LHR (most of them VERY rich) and they checkin for their long haul (usually with Virgin to Hong Kong or with Thai to Thailand) at Belfast City with bmi and same for luggage also!

    Anyone know shops online etc where I could purchase a new one. As since i have a Gold Four Bar Pilots Uniform would be quit fitting!

    Thanks Mark,

    Got really bad shock and i nearly **** myself as i only passed test on 3oth Dec and smoke (actually powder from airbags) started to fill up in car and i thought it was on fire :(. THen the doors were locked so started paniking a bit more!

    Maybe the plane is frowning alot and the paint comes off cos of the wrinkles when you frown!

    Surly get the Daily Mail involved as they adore such appeals via their papers. You just tell them how many aviation enthusiasts in britan (Several hundrea thousands) and they will prob use it as it wud sell papers. Id buy a copy if they were helping!

    THis has happened in Northern Ireland many a time actually!

    There is Belfast International Airport which has runway 07/25 but also there is an airport called Langford Lodge (not used for even GA unless its a museum exhibit as this is the Northern Ireland Aviation Museum) which has runway 26/08.

    Landford Lodge is also 1.5nm from EGAA and when 07 was in use in the 80’s (07 has no ILS and is a Visual Approach) a Carvelle (Spelling?) which mistook the runways.

    It landed on the runway at LL which is alot shorter and they then realised what had happened. The BFS Twr saw the lights and was too late when they realised the mistake as there was no radar in tower so they couldnt look at a scope!

    They had to take all the interior out and send it to Aldergrove to be refitted when it flew to their.

    So thats 25% per person on board so u wud pay 25% then us three wud etc. Right gota 🙂

    We all have passports for security etc. Sandy u joining us as then we cud go up a few times to get us all a go!

    Deano at least let me buy u a large one AFTERWARDS lol!
