Is Jewellry not banned for Health and Safety reasons in terms of neckless or crucifix?

I kind of sympathise with them to a degree as there would be huge ruckas if a Muslim woman was told she had to wear a western style uniform to not offend the passengers. Why should the situation be different for Western people?

Interesting. If they are taken off long haul that means they are denied trips to destinaitons including Mumbai, USA, Carribean etc and Short Haul isnt a barrel of laughs for the most part (mind you bmi short haul cabin crew seem to get decent enough rostered hours).

I would worry about Girona staff TBH as if your refused at STN then at least you can go home but in Girona its going to be slightly more expensive…

Seems they are annoucing the new A319 arrivals mean they can push more B737s into Liverpool. I have it on good authority that the last base to get A319s will be a toss between BFS, GLA, EDI with the three of them sort of bidding to management to get them.

Very Odd. Havent heard anything to make them pull it off plus the summer schedule starts at the begining of April so even odder!

From what I have heard its becoming increasingly more popular with load factors improving. Maybe Monty P might know something…

They wouldnt need their Hangers to restart. If they were sensible and were using AT42/72s again they could easily and much more cheaply get maintence with the likes of FLS or ATR themselves.

Gill used those hangers because of the way they started as an Air Taxi service. They used smaller planes and had maintence facilities for the smaller aircraft. They did expand as the airline changed to using Shorts 360s and ATRs to be able to handle them but on no big scale.

The Bank of Scotland were the original bank of Gill Airways. PriceWaterhouseCoopers were the appointed recievers by a local Court when Gill Airways went Bankrupt on the 20th.

It was because the Bank of Scotland removed finanical funding (i.e. they removed all loans etc to the company) that Gill Airways went bankrupt as they had to repay all loans and monies owed immediatly.
