Luton Operating as Normal but Heathrow is reporting delays as bmi star pointed out. BBC News 24 reporting that if any effect on air travel in terms of fuel it will be London Luton which would potentially suffer most if the plant is shut down whilst this is investigated.

I am on the UA flight JFK to LHR on monday week and its confirmed as a B777.
Exactly my thoughts James. I know they weeded out the Space types but did they weed out people with Aviation hobby to some extent. It is a pretty easy thing to recognise a British Reg and to add insult to injury the side of the aircraft had “British International” or “British Helicopters” on the side of it too above the door.
Of course there will always be rumors that the people in it are actors or it is indeed a hoax but anyone can have the wool pulled over their eyes.
I think if they arnt actors, C4 will have a hard time when they “go into space” with no other astronauts and without a motion platform underneath the “simulator”! Maybe they will sedate them until in “orbit”!

No way in hell that CWL – BHD needs that much capacity. I would predict Aer Arann to drop off first then Air Wales.
Will be interesting to see if Aer Arann base at BHD for their ORK and CWL services for the summer schedule. If they do I would guess they would introduce at least 1 more route from BHD.
