9W are Jet Airways for those in the probably majority who dont know the more obscure codes.
Check out BBC News 24 article about our Peter refering to Airbus and Boeing. The worlds “children” and “immature” spring to mind (not talking about sandy ;))
Further more i suppose Peter Mandelson is on the Airbus back hander payrole eh Sandy? Im sure youll convince us that he is a pro airbus person. I think Bombardier and Embraer are showing their maturity by not getting involved in such debates as im sure they have recieved funding as well! 😉 After all even MY company has been funded by the Government and the competition are not complaining (well yet….)
cr*p pics
My boss was in Turkey for the match and he said most Liverpool fans were delayed. £2k for his flights from Dublin and Hotel and Ticket seems a bit much….
JFK, EWR or LGA. Given traffic etc ill go for LGA?
Edit – Im a muppet. I thought was 1 airport but then reread and realised. Ok i think the black prop thing is at LGW.
Do they take 747s on RWY17 😀 😀 😀
There is a Red Beacon ontop of Traffic Light. I think ATR is just low
In UK Police have to “prebook” with Airport Police if they are going through (Airport Police dont have to). Only exceptions is for Police for people under special protection who dont “prebook” as to safe guard the person under protection.
There is a fence with barbed wire on the left hand side of the pic about the same height as normal airport fences. Maybe its just a bit low?
I know at EGAA they stop traffic due to ILS interferance so maybe real?
Dan your banned from posting for making me too jealous!
This thread reminded me of an amusing true story concerning the last Qantas 707 revenue flight
Qantas flew it’s last 707 trans Tasman service, Auckland/Sydney, in 1979.
Some weeks prior to the flight it became obvious that demand would exceed seat availability as airliner buffs near and far booked for what would be a sentimental journey.
Qantas in Auckland telexed head office: “Due heavy demand by aviation buffs for seats on final 707 flight (QF44 AKL-SYD 25 MAR ) suggest substitute 747.”
Did they actually put a 747 on?
737 shell with no instruments etc £3-5k
Shell with things left in £8-10k
According to Air Salvage International
Bit of the same as “how long is a piece of string” question…. Soo many routes and waypoints and NAT tracks across atlantic change monthly!!
wank&r soo jealous!
