Use the electronic check-in to find out what the first row of economy is. Its normally row four or five, but you often find that it is still in business class configuration, so it’s only 2-2 and not 3-3.
Other than that, go for seats 8E and 8F. There isn’t a G, so you get piles of extra space to your right.
🙂
So if i take first row of economy say in seat A that would give good views over the engine? If runway 27 is in use which is best side to sit on and likewise for 09?
Thanks for help btw 🙂
Sir Richard Branson would also be a good entry. 😀
I signed Stelios 😀
ok well its the best pic ive seen in a year for wow factor so just leave it as year imho
I saw 3 contrails following each other today heading west over Dublin quite a rare scene for me at least. I once saw an Aer Arran atr 42 making contrails after departing SNN. I was young and innocent then and didnt think props made contrails.
They do 😮
i think wannabe and Mark L will back me up when i say the pilot food we have tasted from ICS has been of a very very high standard and ive never not been impressed with it! Ok its pilot meals but still great!
AFAIK its Everett in terms of production??
Carl,
Fully agree in relation to BLK not being able to handle more than 1 738. Some had to stand to accomodate the full 732 flight i was on! Plus the old guy in the kiosk air side charges ridiculous prices even compared to FR and my bottle of Tango was a bit off 🙁
Bags where not that quick for my flight but you could walk to front of airport in what 1 minute flat! Very good from that POV but would prefer larger with more comforts!
 Belfast ain’t in GB, although it’s in the UK (As the UK consists of GB and Northern Ireland).
dont go there, trust me you wont like it…
Great news for the UK Aviation industry. Shame Belfast wont build the actual aircraft though
Would need major development at the plant as its across a small river type thing (there is a bridge but only HGV width) before cutting across a car park full of old busses that arnt moving in near future before getting to the Airport!
I have noticed on Tuesday Mornings for the last 2 weeks between 08.00 and 08.30 a 747 passing over on a south easterly heading at about 23,000 ft (below contrail altitude).
This would make it a bit to high for MAN, but a bit to low for LHR etc. Anyone any ideas of what flight this might be? A cargo 747 to EMA maybe?
Probably using this months NAT tracks coming off in North North West Ireland and flying to BEL VOR then UL10/WAL then down to London. Hard to tell aliitudes with naked eye so id say was lower and MAN headed.
i flew to BLK from DUB when ill on a 732 and it made it worse to point of nearly being sick once i had got my bags! Flown 5 times when not ill and was fun….
Also the wall says “No Entry Crew Only”. How do they get in with those seats in the way? Climb over? Surly H&S issues there
They could have a full hooters restaurant onboard 😀
Is this preemptying a Paris order lol
Great report Kev, I am a big fan of the FlyBe 146 myself, as long as it isn’t the exact same one every time! I wasn’t aware the queen used G-DAEX, makes you wonder why we pay for a fleet of HS125s and BAe 146s for her to use
Didnt Andrew have the 146 in Finland direction
