I never knew of this facility until now and have just found myself on there – complete with home address – which I found a little surprising.

Would data protection in the UK not prevent the CAA from providing something similar?

Excellent review with some equally as brilliant photographs.

KLM is an airline I too am quite fond of. I last flew with them at the beginning of the year, albeit on a short flight from London to Amsterdam, and found even their short haul service to be above average. Their 747s seem to have had quite radical makeovers since my flights a few years back from Seoul to Amsterdam (and back again), both times on PH-BFT. Even without the PTVs, the flight was really enjoyable, and I recall the food being pretty good, too!

    LN-RKF operated flight SK503 today. 🙂

So I’m not going mad then! Thanks for that. 🙂

    Nice snaps!

A6-ETC is an aircraft I flew on when it was new to the Etihad fleet, back in 2006.

where the toilets are, don’t really matter

Before flying on an Airtours A330 back in March 2002, I would have shared the same view, but seriously, a downstairs toilet was very exciting. Definitely one of the highlights of my Jamaica holiday. 😀

Super shots and an amazing backdrop, too! My favourites are the Spanair A320 and the SAS 737-400. 🙂

When did the fairoaks one shut?

I’m not entirely sure, but it was a handy little shop, with a good selection of items for purchase. I think Transair had 7 stores the last time I shopped with them but they now only have four.

Anyway, thanks for the answer. I did head off to Wycombe in the end, but the shop was very small, stocking a very limited selection of products. Saying that, however, I did manage to get what I was after.

Another of your own videos? Do you contribute anything to this forum other than links to your own recordings?

I felt it was the first documentary to ask the important questions of why so much evidence was disregarded by the BEA investigation of the crash.

I deliberately missed it because I was convinced it was just another programme about Concorde, but, judging by what you say, it had something going for it.

For those in the UK, it is available for the next 29 days on 4OD: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/concordes-last-flight/4od

I’m off to watch it now. 🙂

To be fair Tartan, I don’t think those prices are too bad actually…

Yes, that’s his point. He is suggesting that Manchester consider offering parking at similar prices. The viewing park at Manchester hiked the parking charges for cars up not too long ago; £3 for up to 1 hours stay, £6 for up to 2 hours stay, £9 for up to 3 hours stay and £12 for over 3 hours stay.

    Super shots! 🙂

It arrived from Amsterdam, and, when you saw it, it was departing to Stansted. No idea who it was operating for, however.

There was a discussion about Silverjet on the Airliners.net forum recently following one of their 767s – still painted up in in the airline’s colours – flying into Heathrow. There was even a photo captured on the airport webcam, but I can’t find it now.

    Nice shots.

I am surprised to see Garuda Indonesia in there though. I could have sworn they were banned from Europe?

    Nice shots.

I flew on that Etihad 777 a few years ago. 🙂
