Really great shots, especially the departing 737-600 🙂
When do you find out what flights you are on?
We’re on 1388 at 0955hrs returning at 1920 on 1407.
Excellent stuff – another 2 names for the list! This is going to be one hell of a day! 😀
Malev currently fly to Dublin and Cork from Ferihegy (Budapest) and they have some good onward connections, but their prices cannot compete with these.
Can you remember who this was? Because Zoom fly from Stansted, but on a rather useless once-fortnightly service.
It wasn’t the airline that used the ‘original’ “Canada 3000” was it? I remember they were going to operate 757s and onward connections from whichever Candian airport they operated to, included Saint Maarten.
Surprised we haven’t heard of this before.
Washington and New York to London Stansted could probably work, but I get the feeling this might be another airline that never actually starts up, a lot like that Canadian airline that promised direct 757 flights to Canada from London Stansted only last year.
Excellent! 😀
That’s eleven of us now.
Thought I would bring this back up with the meet been slightly nearer, still thinking about whether to pay the huge sum of £2 to have my stay in Manchester extended by 2 hours. ;).
At the moment, you’re due to leave shortly after 4.00pm aren’t you? If that is the case, I’d say £2 for another 2 hours is going to be well worth it. People start flying home from about 6.00pm and myself and Andrew are flying at 7.20pm.
Thanks for the help, guys. 🙂
I’m going to start doing some research on the airfields you have suggested and hope to keep you informed of my progress in a few weeks from now.
I wasn’t even aware the he was ill, so it was a terrible shock to learn of his death. He shan’t be forgotten, especially considering he was the first face to be seen on Channel 4 when it launched many moons ago!

Do any jet aircraft visit LCY?
The 146 is a jet
Excellent shots! 🙂
I actually snapped that very same CityJet 146 at CDG on 19 June.
This is one of the former bmi Fokker 100s isn’t it?
Glad you enjoyed it.
It also seems like you couldn’t have had a better selection of aircraft either! 😉
