Super shots the pair of you. I really like that flybe Dash 8. 😀
You all make it sound like the end of the world! It’s something that can easily be rectified by a moderator or the original forum member who started the thread.
Since its here, why not post our thoughts?
The release of FS2006 is not something that will bother me a great deal anyhow. I’ve only just upgraded my PC and started to use FS2004. I’ll stick with that for now.
OneLeft made a comment about more rejection than acceptance but that isnt always true you may get lucky like I did and get offered 2 jobs from seperate companies.
But that’s not going to happen with everyone. Chances are that the average person will be rejected many times before being offered a position.
I watched a documentary about Air Traffic Control a few weeks ago and correct me if I’m wrong, but for a lot of transatlantic traffic, this the first decent sized airport they will come across if they’re en-route from Europe, so its frequently used as a diversion if there are rowdy passengers on board.
Not the complete list – just the ones I can remember! 🙂 Where possible, I’ve tried to include the registrations of the aircraft flown.

Great report! 🙂
There have been lots of Egypt Air A320s in at Heathrow recently, so you’re really quite lucky to have ended up on a 777 out and an A300 in.
Impressive shot. I’m still undecided myself as to whether or not it is genuine.
Here is a similar one from Airliners.net that many of you will have seen before.
Dont they already do Catania-Gatwick?
Couldn’t tell you any routes of Air Malta, apart from the obvious ones to Luqa 😮
I’m not a fan at all of the TUI colour schemes and always hated the Britannia/Thomson colours because it was so cluttered. There was the big text, a Union Jack, more text here and bits of text there. It looks ridiculous.
I must admit, this looks good though!
Ah, this is an example of one of those ‘Sixth Freedom Flights’ (probably completely wrong??) or whatever you call them, where an airline operates a flight from one country to another, but neither of these countries are the one from which the airline originates.
ooooooo
I so want those 1:200 BA jets!I’m so Jealous
You should get yourself one or two… or three :p
Star Jets and Skymarks are both good value models and with them being twice the size of Gemini Jets 1/400 scale models, you’re getting twice as much for your money. I would recommend using eBay before spending loads in the shops though.
First post from me for a while, so I’ll unveil my six models in the scale 1/200 collection.
The EVA Airs are both Hogan Wings. They are solid plastic models with spinning engine turbines and transparent flight deck window, but the landing gears don’t click into place like they should. Some of them had to be glued.
The British Airways 747-400 is made by Skymarks which is, in my opinion, considerably better than the Hogan Wings. The model is even more solid, the landing gears are rubber and the detail is just that extra bit better compared to the EVA Air models.
Finally, both the Swiss A319 and bmi A320 are by StarJets. Many of you will be familiar with their products. Good quality and high detail plastic models.
Approximate 1/200 Model Siezes
Boeing 747-400s are approximately 13.5″ long or just short of 34cm.
Boeing 757-200 is approximately 9″ long or about 22.5cm.
Airbus A319 is approximately 6.75″ long or about 17cm.
Airbus A320 is approximately 7.5″ long or about 19cm.
bmi have no probelms filling thr A321s on the Dublin route.
Doesn’t surprise me when the only other option is Aer Lingus.
Blimey! If there old, what are your new ones like! Well done mate
They are the newer ones, taken with his top-notch DSLR.
Excellent shots. Brings back some fond memories 😀
I don’t see them?
