I have flown a couple of times with Eva and have to say they are a very good airline and great value for money. We have only flown in their Evergreen Deluxe Class which was excellent!!
I have never flown in their economy but they have above average seat pitch of 33″.
The cabin crew are very good and the inflight service is great.
They use 747 combi aircraft on their LHR – BKK – Taiwan route.
When My wife and I go on holiday to Thailand, I would always fly Eva Evergreen Deluxe. 🙂
Many thanks for the comments guys, I’m really looking forward to it.
Evergreen Deluxe? Is that their First of Business Class cabin, or is it their premium economy? I know they do an upgrade to the next one up from economy for a measly £99 each way.

I actually preferred the first one.
Nobody has noticed the fact that the font on the first re-paint is the same one used by Sky TV. 😀

Excellent shots.
I can’t believe that G-BRIG is still in that disgusting, random colour scheme! I remember seeing it in February at Gatwick Airport.

If they’re so concerned, perhaps they should put a roof over the garden, just to prevent any prying eyes.

That’s anything but sad.
I tend not to write the aircraft down that I have had the pleasure of flying on. Instead, I just store all the information in my head.
Like you, I also like different aircraft each time. Imagine my disappointment in Summer 2003 when I ended up with the same Thai Airways 744 on both legs! (HS-TGY) 😡

You have to be very careful with that from now on. I’m not sure if it was BA or VS he was talking about, my boss has found out when booking his next trip that the airline was changing its terms and conditions and that anyone who failed to honour the return leg of their trip would from now on be charged for the price of a single ticket- i.e. they’ll charge your credit card for the difference.
I’ll try to find out which airline he was referring to.
In which case, you’ll need to book a return trip and turn up at the airport 5 minutes before departure, hoping to check in. “Bugger”, you’re too late, so it looks like you’re not going anywhere.

Excellent shots, particularly the British Airways 763. Only 18 days until my trip on one! 😀

easyJet have several return flights from Gatwick to Cologne for just £25.98 in the next few weeks.
Not the cheapest by far, but still excellent value.
