I’ve been going crazy on ebay lately, buying anything and everything that I can for really silly prices. Latest additions to my pathetic collection are a plastic 1:200 British Midland for £3.20 (excluding postage), a 1:600 Schabak Star Alliance A340-300 for 99p (excluding postage) and a 1:400 Herpa British Word Airlines for £4.99.

All are somewhere in the post at the moment..

    Excellent model, looks great 🙂

Ebay really is the best place for models and other strange things. You can get stuff so cheap, but don’t be hisheartened when you are suddenly boutbid with seconds to go!

Wonderful, the early 737s look great.

I posted a family photo some months ago of an Air Europa Shorts 360 that my gran was soon to fly on, that really was a classic shot, too.

Good that such a thing was noticed, but not for the lady concerned, she is no doubt behind schedule now. 🙂

I reckon it is an Air 2000/First Choice A320

When I flew the 757-200 the week before last, I was pleasantly surprised at the takeoff.

We accelerated very quickly down the runway and were off of the ground within 15 or so seconds (maybe less). this is probably down to the fact that the aircraft was carrying just 30 passengers and few bags in the hold.

    I’m confused

How are they going to be making savings by painting their aircraft in the new colour scheme?

A meet date has been arranged:

Tuesday 17th February 2004 at Dublin Internatinal Airport.

Andrew (A330Crazy) and myself are both flying from Gatwick to Dublin on FR113 at 10.00am. We will then return on FR118 at 7.10pm, arriving at about 8.25pm.

We managed to get the £29 return tickets.

Allen (Ren Frew) is also checking his dates and trying to arrange the day off, so is likely to be joining us.

If anyone else can come on this date, let one of us know. 😀

United has a colour scheme that doesn’t need changing, this one is simple and boring.

How unpractical are the steps on the Fokker 70? Look at the position in which that aircraft is in and the way in which the door has opened. How are passengers meant to get out safely without breaking their ankles as they stumble over the steps which ‘jut’ out?

    Rik Waller

Words cannot explain how much I hate this man. Just to look at, he irritates me. He thinks he is great, when in fact he cannot sing, he is extremely ugly, slightly overweight and has greasy hair. That’s nothing to be proud of.

    Eammon Holmes & Fiona Philips

GMTV is trash. They talk to each other and not to us (the viewers). Surely that is the rudest thing a television presenter can do.

Anybody ever sets foot in my home and intends on leaving alive with my posessions can think again! I would grab the deadliest weapon around and destroy them.

My Halifax branch has a great seating area and water dispenser for customer use. They also provide newspapers for people to read.
