It was a great day.

There I was, lookg like an idiot, waiting for the Thai 747-400 from Bangok to arrive. And guess what? There is no late afternoon arrival on a Thursday! :rolleyes:

Olympic Airways was exciting. We saw the special colour scheme on a 737 and then a few hours later, an A340-300 touched down.

Of course, Concorde crossing the road was the absolute highlight of the day for me… oh, and G-DOCM arriving. That’s the only aircraft I saw that I’ve actually been on.

What I want to know is..

How do you keep the file size small, but have an image which doesn’t look as bad (in quality) as mine?

It was not too bad, I kind of stumbled across it whilst channel-surfing the hundreds of rubbishy channels that Digital television has to offer.

It was very good, I must admit and told us everything about Concorde from the day the idea was first thought of.

Richard Branson was good at presenting and narrating the Concorde Story. Convenient how he was able tos how off the Virgin Atlantic First Class cabin, too!

That 747-400 from the UAE actually came in on the 7th, it was added to Airliners.net today.. 😀
