    Something very similar to what you have said was mentioned not so long ago, Mongu.

    I think that’s the answer, too. Why have one ridiclously big airport when you could have several large ones instead? (A rhetorical question).

    I think they’ll get it too! What with T5 being introduced over the coming years, it seems a wise move for BAA, like robc said, it also makes them a slightly more attractive airport.

    Korean Air have had their fair share of air crashes and the aircraft which comes up most in my aircraft disaster book is the DHC-6.

    Does anybody here bother to use the Flight Log which was set up all those months ago?

    I can’t remember anything before about 1995, most flights before this date were charter flights anyway, not in the days when I was fascinated by aviation.

    I see it Andrew – Thai 747..!! I’m not sure what the latest situation is. Apparently today was the day that we decided what we were going to do about the holiday, but nobody has contacted us, nor have we contacted them. :confused:

    The UA aircraft will be a mixture of 763s and 772s.

    Also, I don’t know when that shot was taken, but there are a couple of Virgin aircraft parked up, one in old colours, one in new. This may be a stupid question, but it’s one I genuinely don’t know the answer to – Are some Virgin aircraft still painted in the old colours?

    I was just about to say United Airlines. Judging by the photograph of terminal 3 on another thread, it was UA dominating just about the whole of the terminal.

    The Dash 7 is a nice little aircraft, quite a difference between that and the Dash 8 series, but I’m certainly a fan of it. Shame it’s not in wider use elsewhere!
