    RE: Favourite Soviet Built Aircraft?

Without a doubt, the Tu-204. It’s such a different type of Russian aircraft, especially when compared to the likes of the Tupolev Tu-154 and the Yakolev Yak-40 series. The way it resembles the 757 by Boeing is quite astounding and the winglets give it such a fantastic look. It’s just a shame that we don’t see too many of the larger airlines using it.

I don’t doubt that there is life on other planets, but I do doubt that what we are seeing here is for real.

We are seeing two black blobs – you don’t need a copy of Adobe Photoshop to create that effect, MS Paint can do it too.

    RE: Buzz’s New Livery

It’s a little boring I have to admit. But the standard Buzz yellow is a nice, interesting colour to be using.

    RE: BREAKING NEWS

Yet again, more tragic news to end what has been a bad already. How can these things all happen at once?

That’s all that matters – keep the image in it’s original condition and do not hide the photographer’s details and all should be ok.

RE: Laws you would like to see introduced?

In just about all cases, the driver does not use the radio. He/she will have another officer in the car who will do all the communication, allowing the car to be driven relatively safely.

Another thing(!) – I do not think high speed police chases are necessary. This is dangerous and puts the lives of other road-users at risk.

RE: Laws you would like to see introduced?

I know. But clearly my idea of a distraction whilst driving has been blown way out of proportion. A law is currently trying to be passed on mobile phones being used by drivers and police do pull drivers over (as my sister has done on several occasions) and issued a warning. I do not think that passengers or car stereos relate to this at all.

Good old A330! Thanks for the information. It goes to show the the A330 is quite an aircraft in more ways than one.

    GarryB,

I’m merely stating the way the law is in the UK – the police can pull you over if you are using a mobile phone, but not for carrying passengers or using car stereos which I feel is a ludicrous remark to make anyway. That’s the way it is – but one day, passengers might not be allowed to travel in cars.

    No.

The police don’t pull you over for carrying passengers or listening to the radio – they do if you’re on a phone.
