    RE: Airports in Florence?

At £300 for the four days, I’m expecting it to be something a little better than Go! We flew British Airways 737 and A319 in February to gone and I expect if they fly to Bologna, it will be them again.

    Interesting stuff about Go though.

    RE: Iraq : who’s in?

I heard that the UK was the only European country backing this craziness. I personally believe that Tony Blair has his stuck up George Bush’s arse and agrees with all his stupid decisions!

I think our main priority is to get Osama Bin Laden before even considering doing anything else – if anything comes of it, the US and the UK will be to blame, not Iraq. I think going to war with Iraq is stupid and should not go ahead.

    RE: Airports in Florence?

It’s a school trip yet they haven’t said who we are flying with. So, it’s obviously going to be British Airways again!

    Thanks Saab.

    RE: Sunset shots!

Brilliant stuff… the British Airways 747 is brilliant. I’m always so negative about some things though and I don’t like the way the tail of the fantastic A330 has been plunged into darkness. I appreciate it is coming up to night time and the light is quite poor, but the rear of the aircraft is very hard to see.

Clearly Dan330 was right. But there are certainly some nice close up shots of BA and Virgin there.

    Sorry!

Only realised my mistake after watching the report later last night! Got the right country though. 🙂

What I suggest you do is use the facility on Airliners.net to contact the photographer, in this case, Derek Pedley and ask where he takes the photographs from.

Maybe he just has an incredibly long zoom lens?

RE: London City – Brilliant Airport

Sad old me sits in front of the telly waiting for eastenders and then I tell the whole family where the airport is!

RE: London City – Brilliant Airport

    Sounds interesting.

I remember once taking a geography trip up to London from where I am in Reading. We were looking at the Docklands and made a trip to LCY which looked incredibly small for an airport.

I seem to recall there being a Tate and Lyle factory opposite as well?

    Marmite Sandwich

“You either love it or you hate it” – Marmite a.k.a. Yeast Extract.

Here’s how to make a MARMITE SANDWICH

    Ingredients

    2 x Slices of Bread
1 x Pot of Butter (thats if you like butter. I don’t, so I enjoy my sandwich without it)
1 x Pot of marmite/yeast extract – depends what they call it in your country.

    What to do

Lay out your two slices of bread on the table and spread butter over each slice. Then spread some marmite over the top of the butter. Place one of the slices on top of the other and cut. It is now ready to serve.

I was just about to do exactly the same thing: post some of my favourite photos by Joe Pries.

I’ve chosen my four favourite and stuck them all on one page.
