    RE: Designing your own aircraft/airline.

Hmm… I’m not sure to be honest. I might try a tri-jet like the Tristar or DC-10(!)

It shouldn’t cost too much. If you’re not near to London, simply get a London TravelCard on the train from your nearest station. From Winnersh, which is where I am (1h 00min by train from Waterloo) it costs about £12 off peak. I hold a railcard so it’s only £8 but this allows you to use the London buses and undergrounds as much as you like that day – it’s certainly worth a try!

Yeah… it was really easy to remove the Britannia c/s and put my own on. For the ERJ-145 and and Airbus A319, I used screenshots from FS98 and had to take them into paint and make them white.

    Hope you don’t mind Luke!

Hopefully ITV are filming “Airline” at the moment! Should be a fun episode with no easyJet staff ruining everything – just passengers who can’t fly.

I too am a fan of white in colour schemes – thats why I’ve used loads of white in the ones I’ve done. The “Island Hopper” Shorts 360 is a good colour scheme – lots of colour and that gives it an exotic feel.

Here’s the next one in the SkyFly series.. an Airbus A319.

IT’s not bad A330Crazy, but you can only have so much white before in my opinion, it starts to look a bit plain (excuse the pun).

    RE: How WAS your vacation?

I’ll be 4 months off of being allowed a Visa Card – I’m only 17! I got a Solo card but I doubt they take that over there. 🙂

I’ll be taking loads of cash though and getting completely knocked over with excessive amounts of alcohol like I did in the new year this year!

    Sorry,

Only me again. This is my SkyFly 777. I kind of “borrowed” the AeroSul aircraft that Saab posted and decorated it in my livery. 😀 Hope you don’t mind!

Some great pics… I’ve made another.

This one was an ‘old’ British Midland Embraer 145 and it took me about 45 minutes just to get rid of the greys and make it white(!).

I’ve been making loads of “SkyFly” aircraft as it’s a name I come up with and sounds catchy.

This is the SkyFly Regional airways aircraft – flys around the UK from Manchester and Gatwick 😉

RE: What is your best aviation movie?

Good question. My all time favourite is Stephen King’s “The Langoliers” which I bought online for about £4 and was chuffed! I can sit and watch it over and over again and still get just as much excitement from it!

Secondly, Air Force One with Harrison (is this now banned in the US as a result of 11/09?) I’ve seen this film a number of times and thoroughyl enjoy it.
