1) If you look closely there is dust on the landing leg, look at the base towards the right of a picture.
2) Can you prove that the nozzle is painted with primer and not some other substance or is this yet another unsubstantiated claim on your behalf?
3) I maybe wrong on this, but wasnt the main thruster (the one shown) only used to get the module OFF the surface of the moon and it’s desent controlled mainly by directional thrusters? That would certainly make more sence to me, as the blast from this central one surely cannot be useful stability wise and would also create huge clouds of dust which could potentially cause huge problems visibility wise with the last few metres of decent. I would have thought that multiple thrusters on the sides (high up) on the Luner Landing Module would be much better to make last minute alterations etc. It would also explain why there are no scorch marks on it, due to the fact that as yet it has not been fired.
