I like We Were Soldiers, for no real reason. The scene with the envelopes is especially touching for me personally.
Will get in a couple of beers, order a chinese, then crack open the Band Of Brothers DVDs afterwards and make a night of it.

I *think* There was a Spit flying over Headington, Oxford yesterday afternoon at about 6ish, heading towards JR Hospital. Any conformation?
I saw the DH Rapide as well (or something that looked very much like it) today at about 10ish over Headington Oxford, heading Brize way, it looked like.

The fact that the US will never ever call us harbourers of terrorism and invade us… Well probably, anyway.

The good old Mk. 1 Eyeball, me thinks.
I mean if a rockband stood up at a battle of the bands and played Teen Spirit they would be booed off the stage at the VERY best, its the musical equivalent of taking a dump on an altar. Or at least they would about my way.

They all should be lined up and shot due to the ABYSMAL covering of a Freddie Mercury iconic track. No-one else can ever touch it, except maybe for Brian May or Phill Collins, and it should be one of those songs that is seriously frowned upon to copy.
It’s the same as trying to cover Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’, and i’d LOVE to see the reception anyone would get if they did that…

A fleeting dart across the sky,
A soaring thought way up high,
A memory that will never leave,
We’ll never forget you, God bless you Steve.
A pint of Spitfire duely raised.

With endorsements from everyone here it must be a great book. Have ordered it from Amazon.

Thats why its so stupidly funny. For a short film for a highschool filmstudies class its a good plot and such, but for anything other than that the sheer inaccuracies are astounding. It’s as if they got given the facts, then deliberatly tried to go out of their way to make them incorrect!
