Ok, think about it this way, If someone here claim that Aim-120 is alot more agile than Mica or that EOTS have significant better range, FoV, Scanning speed than OFS, i bet that you and halloweene will scream ” give a source” otherwise you wouldn’t believe that, and for sure you wouldn’t accept a PM from other forums anyways
( just like when you want lukos to prove CAPTOR-E have electronic attack ability )
So I think it only fair if we also want a source for your claim
Did i say that with Dedira Rafale would hae the RCS of a F-22? That DDM-NG was better than EODAS? That Spectra make Rafale immune to missiles???
Do you have any further links/info about the special forces aspect?
tell me in PM which infos you wish
Can you or Halloween posted that source here?
No, sorry about it, but i do not want troubles with MBDA. Already had to cut parts of my article…
The main reason isn’t about refuelling helicopters, but size of the A-400 M. SFs think it is toob big and not adapted to their tasks (landing on unprepared terrain etc.). Of course the inability to refeul helicopters may have played a role.
What’s with it?
I do.. It matches exactly the info from my source.
That ain’t enough.. Your posts are not exactly better.. Every one contains either a factually inaccurate claim, something to dis a Rafale with or at least an accusation which you then cannot prove. That is pretty much a complete summary of your activity on this forum.
Give up Msphere, feeding trolls…

The UK had planned to retire all their C-130Js, I wonder if this will impact them as well?
In France, C-130 are SFs only. Nothing to do with A400-M and i cn tell you many will regret C-160…
Look at the stem shape.
Do you have any proof that the Rafale has a 1.3MP sensor other than halloweene’s post which states no specific correlation? Nope.
Nope, I just hate searching through old posts, especially cack ones like yours.
If i posted it i had a reason to do so… Btw Sofradir ie building better sensors nowadays…
Hence why journalists have said that it’s supersonic. Does it look draggy?
Because generalists journos do not know a lot about airframes. They also stated it was trans continental plane. Did they mean between Gibraltar and Ceuta?
It’s just media infused to sell their crap if you ask me. Increase in activity yes, but as soon as you can note that you get more article clicks on a certain type of report, media is gonna sing their song each and every time with no regard to value until people stop reading it. And I doubt the army/airforce will deny their need of basking in the glory of medias attention either.
Wouldn’t say that Russia couldn’t practice over their own vast continent though, but I guess they don’t want to be the only dimwit that spent half their belongings on their airforce. Besides it’s just a bigass military regime controlled by another madman – what could possibly go wrong in that scenario.
Then why flyin with IFF off?
EOTS have IRST function as well, a few seconds using Google will show you that
and no matter if you have an IRST or targeting pod, if you want longer range you will have to zoom ( aka much smaller FoV) , there is no way around that
Aswell as Talios pod btw.
Taranis is a one off. Whatever follows it may become an operational system but Taranis is one airframe that uses one type of adour. There is no indication that any successor to Taranis (currently pursued by France and the UK under the FCAS programme) will look exactly like Taranis or use the same powerplant .
If Taranis was supersonic then BAE would tell the world about it (given that it is nothing more than a development aircraft which was built to test systems and concepts rather than an operational system).
I would however be very happy if the aircraft did turn out to be supersonic, although I don’t see what it would prove other than the fact that BAE built a mildly supersonic text UAV where others haven’t seen the point.
There is however, no official information that says Taranis is supersonic lukos. Fact.
AFAIK there will be another powerplant different from Adour. i am still highly dubious about it being supersonic… I think the error came from an old daily mirror article, although not sure
There is no network of IR cameras on Typhoon. You can attach conventional NVG to the helmet and project PIRATE’s FLIR image on the visor, but that’s it.
Which is already a lot
Wow, looks like the deliberately vague ‘megapixel’ description I got was very conservative. From MiG-31’s post:
http://www.cinele.com/images/Documents/Datasheets/ir2013/2k_x_2k.pdf
So that’s 2048×2048 on a 90deg FoV, equivalent to 4096×4096 on a 180deg FoV like the Rafale (which uses a 1280×1024 sensor). 8 times the resolution.
MAn you should know that (i) things are evolving (including on Rafale. (ii) Resolution do not depend only on Megapixels, otherwise a simple Iphone could do as good photos as a high end camera.
Lukos, Continue on Rafale thread? Btw did i ever said that EODAS had an excellent pixel resolution? I said DDM had similar functions. It is not on their internet brochure but I did talk to MBDA personel, did you?
