In what Gripen ammos would be more expensive? For such a deal, manufactures induce the weapons of your choice, and every candidates are stanag compliant (including Rafale)

Believe it or not, but Rafale team (not only Dassault) take ToT very seriously, and that is the reason for long time signing. Every indian partners were identified in May, being audited etc.There are 500 subcontractors in France. Each indian counterpart has to be (more or less) accompanied to deliver proper part at a scheduled timing to implement ramp up of indian components in Rafales. Highly complex task. But in the end should be worth.
