Weird topic : from theoretical F1 vs F4, it became must Irak by F1?
Not that it isnt interesting.
Guys, for God’s sake, we dealt with the topic! There is nothing more to discuss on the topic of the Atlantiques!
Well, i’m talking often with Atlantique 2 head engineer, and there should be loads of interesting things to be said (including its easy overperforming P3I)
This is what I can find in English:

is what you saw much more detailed?
Perhaps one should pay attention to this one:
:diablo:
nah, same thing, and i paid attention to that F35clause
It is mid-night in China now. I get up to correct my English grammar since you are a good teacher for my English.
The first sentence in my latest reply was wrong.
If you are not coming to point out the problem, such incorrect sentence will remain in my mind, and you do good for my English. Why should I drop this? When I told him he had no idea what is English, I meant that when he blamed my English, he was unaware of that English is not a language with rigorous grammar. I was also not saying my English was better than him.
Since you flaunt your English certification, let me tell you a story of my English learning online.
I met a man lived in a small town in England online. I learned many rare English words from him and also felt cordiality of his English. Such cordiality did not come from neglect of my English grammar by him but his English style was much closer to some book like An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations which far far different from fashionable American English we swarm to read. When I invited his comment, he told me American has no idea about authentic English. Certainly this is not his initial words but I remember his meaning. OMG…….!
Since we had gate opening up, many new words comes with grammar even never seen in our China. Also many arguement concerning Chinese grammar comes by, I have never been criticizing any side of those arguement due to my language certification. Why should my qualification judge it? When I don’t get ones meaning, I would trying, if misinterpretation there is, try again would be what I supposed to do.If you think I am instigate English and American, you are so wrong. I am just saying that English is a young language with daily-changing. With years past, perhaps he could not understand my post because he don’t understand English, successor will say.
Still, I take you as an English teacher, not privately I will not pay you, I said it already and always. Now I should go back to sleep. see you around.
dont worry, things could be way worse : thread could be in french :diablo:
May i propose a troll hypothesis? DoD is rid of being sqeezed by LM and isn’t anymore encouraging (for a few months) partners to commit program in order to calm down some financial appetites from LM
POint 10 (rear fuselage) was just opened in heavy configuration for MICA (with damocles pod just ahead)
Rafale F3 weapons:
So max 10 AAMs + 2EFTs, with max 4 MBDA Meteor, or
8AAMs + 3EFTs. Quite good Air superiority combo :).
POint 7 was supposed to be able to hold a dual mica carriage.
I am somewhat surprised — do Dassault really think they can compete against the US manufacturers in North America!?
In any case it will make the “competition” interesting — and perhaps there will be some leaks towards the end? :diablo:
i’d love leaks hehe i read the rfi, quite complete (sry it was in french).
Maybe just a way to bother Boeing/LM?
Or maybe SAAF having less moneyz than expected?
The SAAB offers are always on budget and almost always on time (last known delay was 20 years ago) so I think it has more with changes in the budget/allocated funds to do than anything else.
Hehe i knew you’d react 🙂
Gripen costs
Gripen not as cheap as advertised?
I may be wrong, but i think EW suite is from Thales
Back to subject please? (kind request)
Loke, please check european debt vs US debt… You might be surprised. Nvm. A funding was already given to BAE and DAssault in order to pre-develop EFCAS (from neuron and its bae counterpart) small sum yet (450 million euros), but things take shape.
Nope, but i do know that french squadron “savoie” F1-CR presently operating over Mali have about 10-15k hours left (operation tiemlife limiting factor atm being the ejection seat)… And should be retired within one year…
The bright spot of JSF is the avionics
indeed, fully agree, but arent delays allowing concurrence to progress in the meanwhile? (i’m referring to incoming use of GaN use for spectra EW, and later RBE2 AESA “+” eg.)
