Not de Briganti, Insinnia. That said i agree with you, but as it is the third consecutive time it COULD become asubject to really innocent jokes.
F-35 Program to ‘Resolve’ Deficiencies Before Full Production

From GAO report : https://www.gao.gov/assets/700/692307.pdf
So basicaly what is happenning, once again, unfinished with known (or unknown) deficiencies will be delivererd. And the retrofit costs will be sunk into maintenance costs… Not good when you want to reduce them by 38%…
Again and again poor program management.
Not making bad jokes about arrival in UK delayed by storm…
I have written a blog post about the rationale behind the Western UCAV projects, and an analysis of their design:

Nice job.
Complete misundestanding by Nathan Gain. The Accap do not evaluate at all the french offer… They will select either F-35 or Typhoon.
Any examplz of the opposite Shania?
Agre on STOVL. No clue about fusion level apart from LM claims (which are wrong about at oeast one of the so called 4t GEn)
Written evidence submitted by the Ministry of Defence
Please see below the information you requested following the evidence session on 17 October 2017.
A breakdown of what the Department estimates the unit cost of each F-35 will be and what the other, additional costs (e.g. maintenance and upgrades), are (see Q198).
A detailed breakdown of the cost of the F-35 programme is at Annex A. The price of an F-35B from Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) 10, which comprises the last order placed on contract and representing the 3 aircraft to be delivered in 2018, is $123M each. This price covers airframe and engine only and does not include cost of UK unique elements, estimated at $2M per aircraft. Of note, the price of our first 2 aircraft on LRIP 3 was $161M each.

Somme errors in the article (AESA on C/D e.g.)
Speed? EW unknown with EWPASS? Time on station? More powerful radar maybe? F-35 has its qualities, but they are different to eagles.
One has to admit one thing : NH industries is (was?) making a very poor job for maintenance.
Hmm actually F-16.net went down after a posting from a person in the Turkey thread in the F-35 section was deleted (and I suspect that person was banned). I noticed all of this because he responded to my post.
I hope I was not the butterfly that caused a storm!
Not my bad. But i wont cry. F-16 is often a good source, but due to some core fanatics such as ric “el nino” nunez tend to ban every user not believing in holy F-35 (or anyother US fighter) sanctity and superiority bu every metrics… (aka the wolves that do not howl with the pack).
Well, i heard the ambassador of UK inFrance saying the opposite during the elaboration of the former whit cbook in public hearings. The reason is cost of implementing catapult systems (above two billions)
F-35 (and furthermore B) cou:d fill as a specific niche. Much depends on FCAS DP progress i guess.
I never said tat a small amount of F-35 would not be a good idea for France.
Still funny to see SPAD flying faster than RAfale. Would trigger some heart attacks on F16.net (e.G. that portuguese kid…)
