I did not contest the CFPH numbers. I said as one do not know the age of F-16, it is a some how biased comparison between brand new planes (i understand that first ones are usually very expensive to maintain) and X years old ones.
I cannot inquite the USAF as i am not a US citizen.
The senate document is official, what is the problem with it? And weren’t we talking about CFPH? i can give you sources for 14000 euros for Rafale, but as the cost perimeter is not clearly defined, it would be very complicated to compare with USAF numbers (not same metrics i guess).
Latest FY2018 F-35 SAR 14% more CPFH in an apples to apples look.
Hmmmm. Which F-16 blocks/taranches are listed (i mean how old are they?) etc. I do not contest numbers, but they should be taken with a pinch of salt.
nEUROn finished a test campaign in order to check RCS along time. Next starting soon, delivery of GBU
– bulls**t!, cough bulls**t! The AdlA readiness across the board in 2015 from C-130 to Mirage 2000 was barely 50%.
For the sake of discussion, Rafale M aren’t part of AdA, but MN… And i know that aircrafts in ops tend to have high availability. After a quick fact checking, it was not 40h/week, but 140 hours within a month. https://wikileaks.org/gifiles/docs/17/1769194_-eurasia-libye-quand-un-rafale-fait-les-35-heures-.html
However, the bloomberg info do not criticize the plane in itself, but the program organization, exactly what i am doing also. the best is the ennemy…
50,xx+% on the Rafale side.
Yes and you know why. Relatiively AdA is much more involved in OPEX than USAF and need to smooth down utilization between aircrafts within Sqds. Back to Red Flag 17-3, how many planes for how many flight hours within 3 weeks? IOn Lybia, Rafale M flew up to 40 hours/week/plane… But why bringing Rafale here Tomcat? Your old obsession about french flying machines?
The really interesting part is that wanting to make more money faster on one side, and to secure as much as possible of the program on the other, LM is producing new F-35 too fast, hence 108 aircrafts with a dubious future and others lacking spare parts.
Does anyone else find it odd that Bloomburg does not link tot he actual report so that we can look at their source, in context?
No. They said they had access to a draft…
And th numbers quoted in the graph do not takeshow the man/hour for maintenance, the Lockheed techs etc. And goals do not seem that high… 121.6 hours flight within 3 weeks for how many planes (red flag 17-3)? Quite low as compared to many other planes.

Bruxelles says no to F-35, instead pushes for Rafale or EuroFighter

IV?
i do not know this site so i donnot endorse. However, it seems that a F-35 is grounded either due to bird strike or SA-5
