which mean atm 2 internal AIM 120, then winchester… (at least that bwas the case during trilat). Nothing such as ,axcellent persistence, F-35 weren’t the best of blue force duri ng that very exercise… (Rafale were first in last out). There are other (positive) comments, waiting for more feedback, promised before end of june.
The new sceme of Rafale demo 2017
Why don’t you ask the Pagot fellow to write another article claiming that the budget doesn’t line up with an unrelated contract announcement and then we can all chip in and make corrections on the fly.
Because there are other topics but F-35 lots costs? I do not understand what made you so upset in this article. More or less a listing of LRIP effective contract and subcontracts with very few comments… The fact that there were LRIP11 lonfg lead items within LRIP 7 do not change that they were part of LRIP7 contract. Or should one add them to LRIP 11?
Simply because numbers did not seem to fit. And to post the info. No more
yep, which we ‘re leading along with BAE systems.
Absolutely lots 12, 13 and 14 (planes not lot) for others. So more or less 2018 and 2019. And i agree with you BIO, its not hard to look at https://www.defense.gov/News/Contracts/Contract-View/Article/1167080/ which is not a budget, but a CONTRACT.
$780 mil this year vs $404 mil last year for the F-35A
Err you sure?
Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a not-to-exceed $1,377,002,000 advance acquisition contract for long-lead time materials, parts, components, and effort for 130 low-rate initial production Lot 12 F-35 Lightning II aircraft for the Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, non-U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) participants, and foreign military sales customers. In addition this contract provides long-lead time materials, parts, components, and effort for 110 Lot 13 and 14 F-35 Lightning II aircraft for the non-U.S. DoD participants and foreign military sales customers.
out of those 180 bases how many can support armoured division to hold the ground if the local government is overthrown?.
Very hard to support a huge load of rust…
Spudman, these numbers do not fit with comptroller numbers http://www.defense-aerospace.com/articles-view/release/3/183906/pentagon-fy-2018-budget-shows-no-drop-in-f_35-costs.html see page 1-7
i you could link me (here or via pm) vstol comments…
And yes roll rate is very high. More important is the time to bank. (and to unbank).
With all due respect, the problem is not about rounded (in fact curved) shapes. It is with regularly curved (constant radius) shape. see B2 e.g.
µFirst class of ships attemting to heavily reduce RCS : Lafayette Class (1990). Sapes, superstructure mostly in composites etc.

The real point is asymetric very heavy loading (eg. One SCALP on one side) to land. (that is why M only use one sczlp /exocet). This issue exist more or less for any maritime aircraft.
7.5 mission capable rate.
. Good thing albeit not awesome. MC or FMC? How many ppl and material there to maintain them? Eg. Dring Harmattan or Chammal, Rafale sorties rate above 95% not an indication of what is hapenning in France…
legacy aircraft have air defense support in both case.
Albeit F35 were helped by F-22 and AWACS. Are ou sure these kills were F-35? Not F-22? Still good.
