Yeah, I guess it’s for ‘security’ purposes, even though it’s still ‘available’ elsewhere (google). Seems kinda funny there’s some guy generating areas of blank field and putting fake roads in and so-on, rather than just blanking it out (white or whatever).
I know the 104’s provided air superiority cover for Rome (IIRC in a scramble they could be over Rome in 11 minutes from the call).
