I’m alive and well – but been very busy these days (family life takes priority over warbirds…). I do plan to resurrect Fly Vintage, but I can only do that as and when I get the time…
I’ve put up a couple of photos on Fly Vintage. It looks like all three propellor blades are damaged, which I would guess also means that the engine will be shock loaded.
I’m just glad that the pilot’s ok, and that no other aircraft where parked up where the Hurricane engined up.
I know that for the press day flying Stephen Grey was in Twilight Tear, Steve Hinton in the P-47 and Ed Shipley in the TF-51. Also during the day Keith Skilling flew the La9 and Clive Denney was flying the SNJ as a camera base for Phil McKenna.
