I’m alive and well – but been very busy these days (family life takes priority over warbirds…). I do plan to resurrect Fly Vintage, but I can only do that as and when I get the time…

    Cheers, Ben

I’ve put up a couple of photos on Fly Vintage. It looks like all three propellor blades are damaged, which I would guess also means that the engine will be shock loaded.

I’m just glad that the pilot’s ok, and that no other aircraft where parked up where the Hurricane engined up.

    Ben.

It was up again today (6/5/04), performed a display and then went off for about half an hour before landing.

    PS915 off back to Coningsby

PS915 took off at just before 2pm, and is flying back to Coningsby with the BBMF Dakota as I type this.

She certainly looked good as she flew round the back of my house – just didn’t have the camera ready 🙁

    Ben.

I know that for the press day flying Stephen Grey was in Twilight Tear, Steve Hinton in the P-47 and Ed Shipley in the TF-51. Also during the day Keith Skilling flew the La9 and Clive Denney was flying the SNJ as a camera base for Phil McKenna.

Paul Bonhomme was flying the Skyraider today, and it looked like he was having fun! I’d hazard a guess that he’ll be flying it at the weekend.
