Here is the biggest part of my Fleet air arm collection.
Sea Vixen FAW 2 XN650.
Complete inside but a bit of work needed externaly.I am looking for pictures of her in service or at the wales aircraft museum,if anyone knows of any they would be much appreciated also a set of canopy rails,if there are any out there.

WoW !!!! very very nice example of the vixen !!! i mite be able to hlep with your cockpit rails give me some time to go to teh airfield and have a rumage through wat spares i have for my vixen.

Beautiful work there QLDSpitty….the Frame 11 aft diaphragms are together on mine and the fronts have the lightening holes done….only about 60 hours left to do on it!!!

After a quick chat with Rocketeer the other day via email decided to add a bit of our stuff as well.Doing a cockpit section first to get into the Spitfire groove.And with me to get the feel of aircraft sheetmetal back in my finger tips.Next will be a full size groundrunner we hope. :diablo:

Wow that is some great tin work mate.Tell the guy who made them he is doing a great job,buy him a good bottle of scotch and give him a warm cushion to rest his feet on.Sheety stuff is easy.It,s hard to do it well though and not many people can accomplish it easily.Thats when it starts becoming an art form.Cheers HP75.
