cheap and worth buying to. What do you guys expect for £600!!!
It is the depreciation your brandnew average car loses per hour after you leave the garage at 3pm to closing time that day! It would nt pay a decent service on a mid range car. It would only fill your car tank 10 times (if you are lucky)
I did not say it wasnt good value, i would not know what good value is for one. Just at the moment my money is very limited and having to go on rather more important things.

There is rather more to it that you saw at the museum 2 weeks ago. It is actually pretty good raw material once you add the whole kit together. People have started with much less…
Restoration is just that – often you start with very little, in oder to end up with the big prize at the end.

I cant find my pic’s, but its this one that you actually took a photo of recently…….
It to me looked in a bit of a state. The interior looked totaly empty to me. going by the advert you have alot more though. I did spy a Chipmunk canopy on some shelves there.

Dear all – this seems appropriate here –
Just to let you know that Sywell Aerodrome will be hosting its biannual airshow on the 24th September 2006 – the day before there will be a Chipmunk fly in to celebrate the aircrafts’ 60th Anniversary – however there will also be a competition on the day – with prize for the best chipmunk (ie static ground towed) cockpit!

True enough – post away if you feel so inclined. We had members of the Guild of Aviation artists over last year, 2 of whom exhibited drawings of it at the last exhibition in London. I must get in touch and see if I can buy one.

Out of sheer curiosity does anyone have plans of rescuing and restoring Vulcan XL391’s cockpit?
Also look forward to hearing of progress on the Shack cockpit! If its North West based then will be glad to lend a hand – not much to help restore up here!

Hello all, im new to this forum and aquired a Lightning F6 nose section some while back. Anyone out there got experience of hand pump hyd rigs to raise and lower a lightning canopy?
Pleased you got my old cockpit….broke my heart to sell it to Gordon…oh well. Is it still Essex based? and I hope you love it!! 🙂

People keep asking why I haven’t taken it to CockpitFest – well now you can see why! Until recently I would have had to take it in a formation of shoe-boxes! 😀

Yes, the site is a bit out of date. I’ll try and get that taken care of shortly.
In the meantime I’ve been busy scanning in a bunch of original sea hawk photo’s to pop on the site in addition to part of a Vol.6 which is coming in very handy – fascinating reading.
I’ve also found a few more parts for the cockpit interior so enthusiasm is boosted again!
