OK Guys,
So this is what I’m hoping for, if I can work out the details I would like to make one of the Duxford shows next year. :diablo:
Now here is the question which one should I try to get to. The Spring show or the Fall Show.
What ever show I make I will only be able to come over on Thursday and have to leave that Sunday late. I have to also make sure what ever date I decide I can make time for some meet and greet. ๐ฎ ๐
So Guys which one would you suggest and before anyone say both not in the picture. ๐
Cheers Crazymainer

Now Guys………
OK Guys and Gals,
I’m only going to be over in your part of the world for about four days ๐ so I can’t be running all over the Country side looking at the Flowers which I hear are quite “Quaint”. :diablo:
So back tot he topic were should I be looking to stay alittle help on this since I’m not sure about staying in London.
Cheers Crazymainer

Yeah, and sheep might fly…
Things to say to a Welsh Magistrate (No 1)
” I’m sorry your honour, I thought it was my wife wearing a duffle coat”.

Melvyn,
I wonder if there’s a Royal Welsh Aeronautical Society?
Perhaps the entry requirements might be a little less strict than for the English one.
Yeah, and sheep might fly…

In fact if you are looking for a gift from your holiday for the folks, what better than Wales to brighten up someones day ?????
Which is worse – inflicting Wales on Crazymainer, or vice versa? ๐

The original plan as I understand it was to have a ‘Teas Made’ fitted, so on cross country flights a brew would appear at each main stage. However, the current drain was such that the engine revs dropped to a point just above stalling speed each time the the ‘ready’ bell rang. This could only be overcome by putting the nose down and therefore spilling the Tea.
Mr Hiscock has now reverted to the Thermos flask Mk.I I believe.
This also gives him a storage facility for Tea by-product on longer flights.Hope this is of help to someone.
The funny bit is that I don’t drink tea. JDK does, Setter does, MOTF drinks coffee and so do I.
This is why, whenever I see any of you I ask “You for coffee?”

Fall it is…………….
OK All,
its going to be the Fall, so with that in mind, what should I be packing and were should I be looking at to stay.
Steve called me last night ๐ฎ and we had a great talk. thanks Steve :diablo: yes he was giving me Morris Dance instruction or was that protocol. One thing Steve said was Public Transportation is rather nice so I think I might forgo the car since I’m only going to be their for a few days.
Now should I stay in Duxford proper or does someone have a little secrete hideaway I should know about. :dev2:
Cheers Crazymainer

Will the Rearwin be at Legends??? Hampshire is just too far to go to see it, in fact if it could just be flown over my house it would save me the bother.

Does Melv have a kettle in the Rearwin?

It must be your accent and tan, Andy.
Yes, very funny Robbo but it wasn’t me that got caught for the ยฃ22.00.
I also claim my five quid–Steve Patterson is Monty’s Double.
Melv, someone’s on your case.
By: Andy in Beds - 12th October 2004 at 09:59
Haven’t they heard of FLASKS?
Very doubtful Robbo–and they put fruit flavours in cold Tea too.
By: Andy in Beds - 12th October 2004 at 09:57
Don’t tell everybody or they’ll all be here!!!!! Then what will we do….
Double the prices in restaurants, bars and hotels.
It’s ยฃ22.00 quid for a sandwich and Coffee in Cambridge (if you’re American).
By: Andy in Beds - 12th October 2004 at 09:53
Do you? I think I’ll have to go down there and find out . . .
Melv
At least Popham Tea is warm–they drink it iced at Midland–Cold Tea–YUK!!!
