He’s not the only one to have done it. This was (I think) Eddie Kidd and Vic Norman at Rendcomb in the early 1990s.
(PS: The one with the two-stroke engines is the Cri-Cri)

No, It’s OO-OLE during its delivery flight to a new owner in Ireland. It’s now registered as G-CDJU.
I believe the picture was taken by Bert Kuyper.

The Sally B photo just looks upside-down to me, not the plane. Is that really the right way up?
The negative IS the right way up! I scanned it directly off the strip, I think it was actually in a very tight turn at the time … and re-reading my notes it definitely was NOT taken in 1985 – although it WAS as the Coventry Air Show at Baginton in the early 1980s. I have some more on the same film.

However, the bloke is most certainly not in a Hurricane cockpit!! It has a Mk1 or 2 MB ejection seat for a start! The windscreen is all wrong too. I think its a Meteor

Oh my god. Don’t know if you have seen this one.
Bet he traded margin for speed at the end to do a good show pull out……….The dam looked pretty close to me.
I recall seeing a piccy in one of the historic aviation mags – I think it was in The Other One. IIRC the pilot is Lithuanian, and it’s a bridge in Vilnius he is flying under. No doubt someone else recalls the article?
