I am hoping, for the sake of humanity, that the majority of voters don’t decide that the far right is the answer to the UK’s problems.

Or, worse still, the ‘far left’ !

…leaving the EU isn’t the only thing UKIP stand for, and there are plenty of other parties that want to hold an EU referendum that are less bigoted…

I’ve been surprised myself by the utter deluge of political pamphlets, advocating leaving the EU, that have graced my doormat (and shortly thereafter my recycling bin)…

…I think that in ‘the trade’ that is known as the ‘pushing against the open door party’!!!

I’m reminded of the end of my favourite ‘Ripping Yarns’ when a new school-bully is elected on the promise that he will dismantle the whole bullying / fagging system from the inside…

…of course, the change would have to be made gradually!!! 😉

I would have thought that the desire to leave the EU appealed across the whole voting spectrum?

That’s the problem, people seem to fail to realise that leaving the EU isn’t the only thing ukip stand for, and there are plenty of other parties that wan’t to hold an EU referendum that are less bigoted. In my opinion the whole party is a bunch of scum bags, but I don’t expect many people on this forum to agree with me and this has been discussed in the other ukip thread anyway.

Nige’s “romp home” will surprise absolutely no one – in fact if he doesn’t romp home it will be a minor disaster for UKIP. So any comments have long ago been factored in. Just as long as they all get it off their chests now, when it doesn’t matter a flying fig.
