Your Coolest Car(s) Of All Time?

Inspired by TopGears cool wall;

Mine, off the top of my head:

Aston Martin DBS (old and new)
Aston martin DB9
Aston Martin One-77
Jaguar E-Type (series 1)
Jaguar D-Type (As driven by Mike Hawthorn and Ivor Bueb in the 1955 24 hours of Le Mans)
Land Rover (the likes of the series 1’s, 2’s, 3’s and Defenders)
TVR Sagaris
TVR Cerbera

Many, many others…

…But every time my personal favourite has to be the new Aston Martin DBS. Gorgeously stunning!

Whats yours?

Kind regards

Aston Martin DB9 and DBS :diablo:

These.

Also, the Jaguar E-type and XK8. And I have a soft spot for the Mini One – I learnt to drive in one! :p

Anything from the golden era of American Muscle cars does for me, be it Mopar, Ford….

Oh and my little MGB. Even though she’s currently slightly poorly… 🙁

it’s still a gto !!
i mean i can’t get uma thurman but i wouldn’t turn down her slightly less atractive sister !!

I’d take the ‘breadvan’ over a standard GTO to be honest*, it was quite an awesome looking machine and heavily roped off to stop sticky fingerprints when I saw it in France.

Regards,

Rich

* not that I would if I had the chance, being a Jaguar owner and all. Ferrari are the enemy y’know. Jaguar – 75 years and counting…. Sun Aug 5th 2010!!

probably got dollars mixed up ( it was a vague memmory and a secret buyer when i last saw the report ) think it was $28,000,000 so with exchange rate it would seem in the correct ball park !!

Chris Evans bought his in May 2010 for £12million… not quite as expensive as your estimate, but still a hefty price!

What do you think to the ‘breadvan’ GTO?

Vauxhall Chevette, Hillman Avenger and the much maligned and misunderstood Austin Allegro.

Jaguar D-Type (As driven by Mike Hawthorn and Ivor Bueb in the 1955 24 hours of Le Mans)

I’ll have to agree with you on that one, having seen the beast up close and racing at Le Mans in July..

I’ll add the Jaguar XJ13 prototype to the list please.
