    Aircraft the size of a AN 225 structurally reinforced or something the size of a A380 cargo aircraft would do the trick nicely!

    It wouldnt need to be too heavy! Plus it would mean that the use of territorial pads and all the hassle of flying over and getting access over 3 party skies is not needed.

    Considering air-intercept/air-to-air missiles are equivalent to drones then they already have motherships with 8-12 swarmers apiece available to them already. Otherwise it doesn’t make much sense to carry static aircraft like that. You are fighting gravity too much to justify the 99% of the time the planes are at peace-time status.

    Air to air missiles arent not equivalent to drones, unless you can re use a AA!

    They use MEMS for AESA? hmm interesting, i was looking into them for other reasons, i didnt know mems were so useable.

    your arguing over two 4th gen fighters that havent even come into service yet! oki fine so u know something about the LCA but so what? as for the J-10 supporters as much as i hate toooooney Blaired id like to quote him and say PUT UP or SHut up.

    What are the chances that the congress government has made a deal not to sign up for the lease of those akulas with Russia if america opens its arms and doors to it?

    ever more what are the chances that the congress government has been paid off to not lease the subs? wouldnt be the first time.

    I cant even remember the current administration talking about leasing the subs!

    The problem of consultations is to what degree are they used and to what degree are they not.

    I mentioned before Mikoyan’s involvement as there in fact similarities in the frontal area of the J-10 to the 1.44. Mikoyan could have been involved in consultations regarding a proposed delta canard “J-10” twin engined variant using two RD-33 engines which was rumored about for some time. This twin engined model looks quite similarly to the 1.44. MiG is also clearly involved with consultations on the FC-1 project. And clearly MiG sees the possibility of an alliance with Chengdu Aircraft Company as a counter to Sukhoi’s alliance with Shenyang Aircraft Company as access to the Chinese market not just in fighter planes but also in other varieties of aircraft.

    I only posted it because they mentioned that the whole lot of 140 MKis could be finished by 2012 which i thought was news to shout about if true!

    If i had my way i would junk the MMRCA rubbish and just dive in for single seater Su-30MKis or something of that calibre.
