why have they got the Mig 27 as a fighter? :S
How would this affect the Migs Attack performance? Is one ton of extra thrust enough? how much would the range be increased? i suppose HAL will be replacing some of the structure in the aircraft to make it lighter?
i dont understand this eire at Chavez, i mean it has been the US that has been playing with the politics within its southern neighbours proping up regimes it likes..
If Chavez is a D*ck for supporting FARC then what would it make Bill Clinton and the countless other American Presidents that supported a Terrorist War AGAINST THE UK!
Even after the Canary Wharf bombings the US refused to stop Sien Fien from gathering money in the US! it even refused to give the IRA a terrorist Status!
why is that oki?
So has Chavez been caught out actively supporting the Hezbul ? And the fact that he has been called a terrorist sympathiser in Columbia is that because he is backing people opposed to the government estabalished by the CIA?
And also if a president supports a Terrorist organisation does that make him into one ? or does it just mean he agrees with their ideals?
Just some questions nothing more.
Well he is responsible for the growing of vast quantitys of it. 😉 This guy realy needs sorting out and if he thinks 30 Su-30’s could save him from a US invasion the terrorist loving d*ck could get a nasty shock if he pushes it too far. :diablo:
what terrorist groups is he involved with ?
Excellent thanks stevo.. makes a bit more sence..
That sounds more then plausablel, but should the engine need to have that?
i like the Idea of buying more Su-30MKis directly from Russia with the newer engines and flight systems.
I also wish India would buy the T-50, M346, or Yak-130 the Hawk is a paper weight it cannot give the training required for unstable platforms like the Su-30s. The British new this and only reason went towards the Hawk was because BAe threated the UK government with closing down a whole factory.
Also have to agree that although numbers are down the fact that the IAF will have possesion of AWACS and plans to by AW in the future (the DRDO project) will offset the lower numbers.
The Quality of the IAF and its equipment will be higher then anything in the neighbourhood.
I am also starting to think the the US has offered the block 52’s to pakistan to push India into buying the F/A-18 bomb truck
Oki well thats better then what we have so far,
But playing devils advocate,
why would the AESA radars require something more special? and why are they angled away from the centre?:S
what is happening with the bird of pray? it seems too small to be usefull for military use but would be nice to see it fly about in civilian form
one of the theories was that it was bleed air from the engines passed over the tail to give better control.
I thought it was electronics but after seeing them vents covered up later in the day at the same time the inlets were covered up i could only assume its engine related.
went today got some pics, not so good oki. i need to practise some more!
but display wise today was going to be the worst day anyway but since it was kind of work it didnt matter, otherwise i would have been majorly anoyed at paying that much money to go see the thing.
I think the mig 29 must be the only good thing about the show because the rest were just unimpressive.
I feel the same as super nimrod about the EF Typhoon, it just is soo dull!
The shows are there to show the public that tax payers money (and its a lot of money for the EF typhoon) is being spent well, the EF made the display by the ALH by HAL look interesting!
high point of the air display once again was Red Arrows!
Thank god for them! single handedly pulled the show from being mind numbingly boring to WOW that was great. We all had a lot of respect for those guys at the end of it.
most of us uneducated engineers wished they gave the Red Arrows some EF Typhoons to play with.
low temperature? hmm wonder if they are using prototyping resin to make these parts.
was that from this monday/tuesday?
mate how long was the mig 29 display? i am soo pixxed of because the day i am going is the day that the mig 29 isnt on display 🙁
EADS Defence Electronics and the Indian Defence Avionics Research Establishment will jointly develop a missile warning system. The new system will be based on EADS’ MILDS AN/AAR-60 warning system. 36 sensors will be supplied initially with a longterm commitment to start a local production of MILDS AN/AAR-60 in India.
