They would need some form of light aircraft similar to a MIG, aerodynagmically it can’t gave been bad and maybe just a case of putting the inwards of the 35 into a stealthy airframe. Over simplification I know but assume you get the intent.

Recently i have been arguing that the Eurocanards factored in RCS reduction measures at a relatively late stage in their design (perhaps during the late 80s/early 90s), when the value of American research and designs was apparent.

However, it occurs to me that European powers knew the value of RCS reduction in fighter designs long before that. I am aware of the German “glow worm project”, and I believe the RAF had access to the F117A before it was in the public sphere (?).

So when did the various European countries start to actively think about Stealth?

World war two. RAM was used or started to be used then, subs were the starting point. Material called dx-1 or something used in 60s on inside of aircraft to protect structure from microwaves.

India had mooted that it will have a 5000km (iirc) anti ballistic missile operational in around 2016.

This is desperately needed to counter plaaf anti ship ballistic missile and put up an umbrella for the Indian navy and its allies.

Why do they need to buy them now? Technology on the apache hasnt really moved in years and its going to be another 5-10 years for new helicopters with stealth and all sorts to come into production can not they not upgrade or lengthen the life of the aircraft till then?
