So all of you believe that South Korea should take it on the Chin no matter how much they are provoked, if their Ships are Sunk, Civillians are shelled etc, because of the threat of a costly war. Will any of your countries suffer such indignity ?
Would England suffer such a fate ? Have they ever, when it was much easier to have peace with Hitler, there was a time when Britian stood on its own (before the Americans and Russians entered the war) against the might of Nazi Germany. Before that against the French under Nepolean and before that against the Spanish Armada.For Americans did Kenneddy backoff during the Cuban Missile Crisis even at the risk of a third wold war he did not. National Pride is sometimes worth sacrificing every last person including yourself.
If you let the North Korean establishment get away with everything they will threaten your home next with missiles with ranges to reach Europe and then ones which can stirke Continental United States. You simply cannot let regimes like North Korea have their way.
And then there is a need to make a difference to the life of the opressed North Koreans.
