I got a voucher for a flight in something historic…
Big thanks to my parents.

It is hard to find any words…
Ray Hanna was the pilot who flew “my first Spitfire” at an airshow in Switzerland when I was still a teenager. His style of displaying any warbird was always very exciting and emotional.
Having seen the pictures of “Candyman” posted by “FlyAway” I now found the missing link to the stories of my father who recently told me that there was a red Mustang flying overhead on several occasions when I used to play outside as a two year old child…

No, in the entry form, just click where it says “not in the us?”. You will have to experiment a bit with your City (choose the nearest one which appears to be stored.)
Hey, I seem to be the first in central Europe

I saw a double page in a local Newspaper about this a month ago, I’ll see if I can dig it out.
I thought this to be kind of a joke but it seems to be true.
The details given by you match the ones in the other newspaper exactly (Cliff Spink, BM597…)
See you later

I am currently translating stuff for a guy who’s doing research about Walter Nowotny. He seems pretty happy with what am doing.
Thing is, my time is quite limited at the moment, but if its not too much, I could give it a try.

The last one is indeed a model 4-stroke engine, brand could be OS or Magnum (copy of OS).
There’s a 4 cylinder engine with a short, high alpha propeller (red tips). This strongly suggests the use in a drone. Brand unknown.

The event calendar from the Connie-Website explains my sighting on Thursday. She was on the way to Buochs.
If all goes well, we’ll have a Balbo within the next 24hrs 🙂

PS: almost forgot the time shift, make it 25hrs 😎
…had my windows shaking at around 1800CET, it was the Super Constellation flying overhead quite low. Does anybody know wheter she will be at…. 😀

With apologies to an unknown photographer, but possibly John Rigby.
I have this exact (and very exiting,BTW) shot in a book called “Spirits in the Sky” (German Edition).
It states that all photographs in there are by Patrick Bounce.
Hope this helps

Are the missiles in the background of the first “crap” Bloodhounds? Just curious, because these were one of the big secrets of the Swiss airforce until well into the nineties 😮
Flo
PS: They were all alinged Eastwards, just in case… 😮
Kurt Russel? 😀
Thanks
