Price-wise though it has to be one the accoutants might prefer
Why do people insist that all bad decisions are driven by accountants? Would the marketing and/or commercial manager and directors and the chief exec’s of these airlines not have a say over the ‘accountants’ in such major appearance-related matters?
Love them all Sandy, but the first one gets the “top banana” vote from me.

What a fantastic report and what a fantastic itinerary. Can I ask how you went about booking this trip? I feel a plan happening!
Ah wow!! Never seen that before – that’s brilliant. I love science!!

Good choice andrewm – just one thing to point out – it’s the Monarch Scheduled flights (ZB) that this service applies to – I’m not too hot on our charter product’s onboard service.
Also, on the aforementioned Germanwings, we spent the day in CGN from STN for a mere £2 return inc. taxes. in Feb 2003. It costs me much more to fly with the airline I work for!!!

Without a single word of a lie or a hint of a joke, myself and my two fellow professional daytrippers paid a solitary Great British Pound (yes, £1), including taxes from STN/HHN/STN with Ryanair in March 2003. They undercut Germanwings special offer to Cologne just for the sake of it I think. But we paid £1 each in total – and this was before the fee for using switch cards as payment too!!
Do I win? 😀
