EELightningI said I don’t buy a revover cannon having instant full rate of fire. I assume it to be very quick (full rate by perhaps the 3rd round) but NOT instantaneous. Whether it is 28, 29 or 30 rounds in a 1 sec burst that is still well short of the M61A1’s (my calculation) 78 rounds.
But why? Be more specific about it, or better still, show a reliable official source for once, like I pretty much say, contact Rheinmetall Defence I’m sure they’ll say, after all, its hardly top secret, is it.

Maybe it is well short of the M61A1’s, but the throw weight of the BK27’s is far greater in the same way a 8.59mm round is for effective than a 7.62mm round. Just makes more of a mess of a particular target using less rounds.

I believe he already knew/knows its a revolver & I was thinking why is it the only non-American gun in his list, but I’ll give him the benifit of the doubt. My question was was why doesn’t he buy into the BK27’s performance and why did he say it fires 1800rpm and not 1700rpm when its obious to everyone with a clue that it actually fires 1700rpm.
His reply(s) will be interesting as always…

You’re the one that said you don’t buy it, my question was why don’t you? Or why just get to the point and save arguments, why not just say it fires 1700 rpm in the first place? If you do a simple calculation of; 60 x 29, it comes to 1740, now round that up to the nearest hundred which will be 700. So thats around 28-29 rds/sec, which with all do respect, isn’t that far from the 30 mark.
Don’t you still buy it?

Who knows, where he was firing from he might of thought that he couldn’t make the shot there for trying to get closer to his targets which would’ve taking time and maybe even giving the gunmen more chance to kill someone. Instead he just took the shot from where he was. With a .50 calibre rifle you’d probably expect it to hit its target but from a .338 round. Incredible. Confidence too!
Anyone see a pattern emerging here?…Longest sniper shot, Graig Harrison using the L115A3 sniper rifle in Afghanistan. Longest tank kill from a Challenger 1 tank in the first Gulf war. Longest range gunnery hit from HMS Warspite during the Battle of Calabria…

B*****D!…….B*****D!I remember that all too well when Micheal-I knocked Hill out the race so I could win in 94-Schumacher took Damon out, that was Damons year, he should have been two times world champion. The guy was and still is my all time F1 hero & him winning the 1996 F1 world championship was just the greatest moment in F1 history for me, no one deserved it more than Damon Hill….
….Gotta say though I’m routing for Micheal at the moment but thats not the point. 😀

Out of those three I’d personally go for the Behringer PMP1280S 1,200-Watt 10-Channel Powered Mixer, purely because of its watts but thats just because i’m into the like of death metal. But the Yamaha EMX512SC Powered Mixer should be just fine for what you need it for. Yamaha are renowned of producing quite good gear at decent prices so I think you should be ok with something like that.
Peavey also do some really good P.A mixers too, you should look up the likes of the Peavey PVi 4B, Peavey PVi 8B & Peavey PVi 8B Plus, they’re starting around 100 to 700 watt powers output and prices staring around £170 to £370 for those particular models. Very good quality & easy on the pocket too.

EELightningJeremy Clarkson done a TV series a few years ago called, Speed, and it was just about that and how it makes the human mind tick, telling you how complicated it actually is to do etc. On one episode it showed you the likes of aeroplanes struggling to fight againts the air, gravity, shock waves, sound barrier etc. At the beginning he was standing on the decks of a Royal Navy aircraft carrier, HMS Invincible I think, while an RAF Tornado F3 was flying very low, very close and very fast back & forth past the carrier & breaking the sound barrier in the process.
Now, probably not unusual for a Tornado F3 breaking the sound barrier at low level, but I noticed the F3’s afterburners weren’t lit up, just looked dry to me, you could clearly see the shockwaves as it went through the sound barrier, although there was nothing on it, no weapons, drop tanks, just a clean Tonka going a fair old lick.
Theres a few of Jeremy Clarksons Speed episodes on youtube thats worth a look, very interesting & it shows that the Americans had no clue of the all moving tail plane when they were attempting to break the sound barrier with the Bell X1, and showing that the Bell X1 was basically an aircraft the Americans “borrowed” from the British & decided not to give it back. A good series neverless.
If the F-35 can achieve Mach 1+ and hold it without using its reheat, then its a supercruiser in my book. I’m sure the chaps at LM would change their mind on the definition of supercruise too.
