Its quite difficult to believe or take seriously when someone such as yourself believes that the Yanks are “streets ahead” of god knows who when one has a problem with stringing a simple sentance or two together using the appropriate words, such as:

Now unless you mean bringing them to an evening tea party, which I very much doubt because that wouldn’t make too much sense for the beautiful people of planet earth, so I assume you must mean; “bought”, am I right? So, get a lesson in simple English grammar and maybe one or two clues then some of us might take your posts serious.

To my knowledge the Typhoon is/has replaced the Jaguar and in the process of replacing the Tornado F3, the F-35 as I understand is just to replace the Harrier and there is nothing replacing the Tornado GR4, as of now or the not too distant future that is. Most probably be an unmanned aircraft such as Taranis or possibly a few Typhoon FGR4-XX’s.

Never heard anything official other than the Harrier F-35 is replacing and to some RAF officials I’ve heard say & read on various articles, news clips and documentaries the Typhoon will be the backbone of the RAF for years to come. I.e their main asset.

I usually go to google news to find sources first before I look elsewhere, I’ve just been and done that & all what comes up at the moment is just stuff about the new Tory government thinking about what they’re going do to with Typhoon, so. No joy yet.
