If you are on the possible receiving end and are not completely mad/fanatic/whatever i can only imagine that the perspective might be a bit diferent! Maybe scarier enough to make you think twice about threatning the wellbeing of hundreds of British citizens.
Cheers
I don’t think there was any reason for Argentina to think of a British nuclear threat as credible.

Rather nice video about the A-50…testing new EW equipment.
EDIT: By the way, does anyone know why several “serial” Su-27M were handed off to the Russian Knights?
This frigate should by all accounts be a potent vessel. Not to mention its symbolism as the first “Russian” blue water surface vessel seem appropriate given the Gorshkov name.
The Kulakov leaving Baltiisk after repair/”modernization”.

Yes, helicopter crashes are so entertaining. Maybe if you are 10, or 13, or just an immature prat.
My lord, a nation had some difficulty developing their first indigenous helicopter, clearly that makes the Dhruv a poor program.
What knock-off Su-30s?
The Falklands are well out of S-300 range in any case.
Russia should acquire these instead of the Ka-60s which are barely being produced (only 8 in how many years!?). It is the same size, same class, slightly slower but can fly much higher. its probably cheaper too and has a rear door unlike the Kasatka. Should be useful in mountainous places like southern Russia when they decide to fight muslims.
Actually Ka-60 has not been produced serially at all- and that has to do with priorities of the Russian MOD, not the helicopter at all. No priorities, no Ka-60s, and certainly no Dhruv.
A few recent photos of the Gorshkov:

The Yuri Dolgoruki will be doing torpedo firing trials for the first time in the next few days.
There was some discussion earlier regarding the Indian SAM network. This might be of interest to some.
The Defense Budget is aimed at 71 billion per year (dollars) for the next decade. Of course there is possibility of it going further up in the course of the next ten years, but either way, it is serious money.
So the Su-30MKI upgrade chose Zhuk-AE over Irbis-E? but why?
Like much of India related defense Journalism, this could be unfounded nonsense. Certainly it would take Phazatron time to make Zhuk-AE bigger and fit/integrate into Flanker, NIIP has been working on that for years.

First 3 Ansats delivered to a helicopter flight training school. Another 2 are due before October 20th. Total deliveries to the school are 7 for 2010.
Given T-72 obsolescence, and Arjun performance in the last trials (comprehensively whupped the T-90), its getting its own support base.
Much of those results are dubious to say the least. Specifically about T-90 accuracy, penetration capability, and armor.
Oh and nice IAF Mig-29 photos, they are surprisingly rare. First UPGs should be back from Russia soon.
