    Great pics of a fantastic achivement. Thanks to for all the good wishes, little one unfortunately ended up in the baby care unit last night with some breathing difficulties but on the mend now.

    Been a good day, my wife gave birth to our new daughter at 6.15 this morning, its those two willys!!!!

    Am told there is an American built 1.5 Strutter for sale in for £80k – lovely looking aeroplane, my fave WW1 type in fact seems pretty reasonable to me…not sure whether its the one used in Flyboys though…

    Which reminds me Blue Max and GASML – nice pix in the mags – re the BE2 how about a paint scheme from Lilbourne or Easton on the Hill- good Northamptonshire link…

    And while I’m at it has the Messenger been flying again (I’m only a chuffin Trustee no one tells me nuffink)

    Bit of a duel edged sword this one, great it is staying in the UK but such a shame it will not fly now, especialy with all the great work that has allready been done by **** Melton and his team.

    Is that a genuine red/white diamond pattern or one they made up?

    This was infact a made up scheme used in the film “Darling Lili”, it was based on scheme’s found at home defence and training sqaudrons.

    It’s so secret it’s not on the latest 1/2 million map so watch out if you’re going to Kemble by air this weekend. (It’s just South of the disused strip at Chedworth.) I believe one of the “geriatric rockers” has a Jet Ranger and a Cub based thereabouts.

    Jet Ranger ,no. Super Cub and lots of very nice ( and expensive!! ) cars, yes.
