Yay, the Internet likes me! 😀

Could it be the C.581? The only photo I find is a German-captured one. But it appears to have the steep tail fin leading edge of the one in your photo.

Well it’s undoubtedly a Caudron (the “A” of Avions Caudron is even visible)… I think it may be a Caudron C.690M.

(Skyraider – the Puss Moth had similar ‘air brakes’, though not quite as dramatic)

My comment was mostly about the formation leader nearly flying his wingman into the ground. If I were the wingman, I wouldn’t want to fly with this guy anymore!

I had Easy Jet flying formation once with a Su-30 on Farnborough. Can’t say I was pleased with the shot… :rolleyes:

It should be fine as long as they put modern turboprops on it so it’s safer to fly.

You reckon correctly, as that’s Peter Holloway’s aircraft. I was lucky enough to get a ride in this marvellous machine. It was a wonderful experience and the smoothest flight (and landing) I ever experienced!

NB. Being the Fourth of July, that pilot makes me think of Tom Cruise. Except for the long hair and wheelchair!
