Can we make this one a sticky so they don’t forget to look at them? 😀
Bah! Dont you start Ronnie 😀 – if you’d flown in one you’d know it bloomin needs them!
I haven’t unfortunately, but if anybody gives me a ride in one I might change my mind 😀
Just wondering now… are there any other single engine aircraft around with three tail fins like that?
Staying in the three tail fins department, the Manchester is also a bit of an oddball
DHFan – I indeed mentioned two service types, as most planes mentioned are prototypes only and i don’t think they really count 😉
Link doesn’t work for me…

Ah, you got the caps wrong… here is the correct link 🙂

Great video by the way, but I think it was posted here before as I have seen it fairly recently and I most likely found it here 😉
Thanks though – was worth watching again! 🙂

LOL TT! 🙂
Thanks Lynn
Thanks very much guys 🙂
TexanTomcat this topic had dropped a couple of pages so I decided to give it a shameless bump 😀
L9172, the aircraft is indeed an XF-12 Rainbow.
John, the Ta 152 is exactly the reason why this project was cancelled. You can find more about it here: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Village/4082/int_air/bv155-1.htm
Ollie, I think as a flying model it would handle pretty much like a powered glider 🙂 If you need scans of the scale drawings, let me know.
Well, it does have too many tail fins to be normal! 😀
160 views and not a single reply. It may not be up to my usual standard, but it ain’t that bad is it? 😮
Sorry for the late reply, JDK. Seems my reply notification e-mails don’t always arrive!

Sorry for the late reply. I am using 3DSMAX. But the latest versions of C4D are pretty good too, I believe! 🙂

I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
He nearly had a mid-air with a Dreidecker, though! 😀
Nice pix!
That’s pretty cool indeed, never seen anything like it (not counting the several Piper Cub stunt maniacs out there, shutting down their engine and bouncing off the grass, etc :D)
Whoops looks like he lost something. What happened?
What’s the story with the La-9 anyway? It was newly restored, flown one season and then put up for sale. I’d think it’s one of the best and rarest planes of the collection!
I’m similarly puzzled about the lack of activity concerning Duxford’s Yak, but I heard that one had some serious build flaws and needed major revision – or something along those lines anyway
Russian plane enthusiasts are a bit out of luck, it seems…
Will it be at…? 😀
